When you pair over Bluetooth, TerraFlo discovers the controls, the signals, and the limits. You stay at the console, and the belt only moves when you start it yourself.

Use a Horizon treadmill with TerraFlo
Studio Series (7.0, 7.4, and 7.8 AT) uses Bluetooth FTMS. Speaker Bluetooth is a different pairing. You start the belt.
Where this family stands
Horizon Studio Series treadmills (7.0 AT, 7.4 AT, and 7.8 AT) use Bluetooth FTMS to share live metrics with third-party apps. There is no Horizon subscription required to run the machine.
Speaker Bluetooth and FTMS are different pairings. Pair the fitness radio, not the speakers, if you want TerraFlo to follow belt speed. If Horizon’s AtZone app is connected, disconnect it first so it is not holding the FTMS session.
On Studio, TerraFlo can pace route video from belt speed when FTMS is connected. Route-driven incline is used only if that console exposes the control; pairing confirms it. You start the belt; TerraFlo does not.
The GO Series is generation-dependent. Horizon’s own help says T101-07 (sold after January 2022) is speakers only, with no third-party app integration. Current T101 Connect is marketed with FTMS, so check the dash number on the console rather than the name T101.

What happens when you pair
When you pair over Bluetooth, TerraFlo discovers which telemetry the machine sends, which controls it accepts, and where its limits are. It keeps learning that setup over time.
If your Horizon model does not respond over Bluetooth, send the exact model name from the Beta page.
Bounded incline
Route-driven incline never goes below flat, stays capped at what your machine reports, and can be turned off mid-session.
Your data stays yours
Completed sessions are private by default and can export to Strava, Apple Health, Health Connect, or TCX where supported.
