TerraFlo learns this machine
When you pair over Bluetooth, TerraFlo discovers the controls, the signals, and the limits. You stay at the console, and the belt only moves when you start it yourself.

The T9 spec table lists Bluetooth FTMS and marks it app compatible. Other Bowflex treadmills are not this row. You start the belt.
Bowflex’s T9 product page lists Bluetooth capabilities as FTMS, speakers, and heart rate, and it marks Bluetooth FTMS app compatible as yes. That is the row TerraFlo is writing up.
Apple Watch pairing on a Bowflex deck is a separate watch connection. It is not the same thing as FTMS. Other Bowflex treadmills are not assumed to speak FTMS because the T9 does.
You start the belt. Incline follows the route only when that console exposes the control. Machine spec on the T9 page is 0.5–12 mph and 0–15% incline.

When you pair over Bluetooth, TerraFlo discovers which telemetry the machine sends, which controls it accepts, and where its limits are. It keeps learning that setup over time.
